Newtown Twp, Chester, Pennsylvania [1] |

28 Dec 1775 |
Notes |
- Named as "Abigail Williamson Daughter of Daniel Williamson of Newtown" in her 1719 Chester MM marriage certificate. Ashmead apparently made an error in naming her as the 'daughter of John Williamson of Newtown' in History of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, p. 559.
William and Abigail are named as the "son of Thomas Garrett of Goshen Dec'd and Abigail Widdow & Relict of John Yarnall of Edgemond Dec'd" in the Chester MM record of their first declaration of intentions to marry dated 25th of ye 3d month 1754.
