- Samuel graduated from Jefferson Medical School in 1838, one year before his brother John, and moved to Ohio. - The Leedom Family
Samuel's birth place is given, incorrectly, as 'England' in his son Robert's death certificate.
A photo of his tombstone submitted by Robert Weller shows Samuel's death date and gives his age as 42 years, 11 mos and 27 days. He is buried in Cost Cemetery along with his wife, son Byron and Mabel, Byron's infant daughter.
