- Theodore was named the executor of the estate of his father, Joseph. There is record of a lawsuit in Orphan's Court, ruling dated 27 Jan 1891, regarding the distribution of Joseph's estate among his surviving heirs. The ruling affirmed that distribution should include the illegitimate son, William B. Leedom, of this Theodore's deceased sister Rose Emily, named Roselma in the lawsuit.
Probate file number L 243 n the estate of T. J. Leedom filed 13 Jul 1904, Letters granted to Eleanor W. Leedom. Sworn and subscribed by Eleanor W. Leedom that Theodore J. Leedom departed this life on the 22 day of April A.D. 1904.

Butler, Pa. April 23 - Theodore J. Leedom died last night at his home on Brown avenue, aged 63 years. The deceased was born in Bucks county and had been a resident of Butler for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. His wife and four children, Percy W., James and Theodore Leedom, wholesale grocers of Marietta, O., and Lillian Worrald [sic], of Marietta, survive him.
