News: Despite the Login on the Menu, no Login or Registration is required. We use this for administrative purposes only.

We now have three genealogy files on this site: our main database which is a combined ‘Ives-Leedom’ tree, plus two additional working trees with so-far unconnected people I've found along the way, ‘Leedoms-unknown’ and ‘Netherlands-unknown’. All of the Search results will identify which tree contains the individual or place in question.

Different sources sometimes have conflicting information and there are undoubtedly a few typographical errors in here as well. Please feel free to send us any corrections to errors you may find in our files. Additions are always welcome too!

Hannah Daughter of Wm & Mary Pease, ye 20th of 11th mo 1675

The birth records of Fishlake name Hannah's parents as William and Mary Pease.

A copy of an extract of the Friends' Registers, Yorkshire (from Charles Pease) shows daughter of William Pease: Hannah, born 1675, xi, 20, married at Sherborne, 1701 x. 7, to Richard, son of John Ludome, or Ludham.

Hannah's sister Lydia was the nearest Pease relative to sign her 1701 certificate of marriage to Richard Leedom.

Hannah is said to have died before Richard's emigration to Pennsylvania in The Leedom Family by Sara Leedom Eachus but no documentation or source is provided. She had

Richard and his son William, with no mention of Hannah, applied for a certificate of removal to Abington MM on 1 Dec 1738. Whether or not Hannah came to Pennsylvania she had definitely died by 1740 when Richard is reported to Abington MM as having married a second time without approval of the meeting. He was then removed as a member.
