  Notes	Esther's 1725 baptism record at Dutch Reformed Church of Port Richmond, Staten Island, names her parents as Jacobus Craven and Antje Iniaart, the witnesses named as Thomas Craven and Neeltje Craven. The record I have is a handwritten later copy of the original records. Named as a daughter of Jacobus Craven and Antje Ingart in Descendants of James Carrell and Sarah Dungan. That source includes a transcript of Esther Gilbert's will written 30 May 1803. She had previously given her real estate to her son Elias. She left him additional provisions and silver then left her remaining possessions and wearing apparel to, "my three Daughters Elizabeth Hart, Rachel Gilky and Edith Gilky, to be divided among them equally, but if they should choose to sell the goods at public Sale, then the Money thence arising, with what other Money may remain in hand or owing to me after my funeral expenses and lawful debts are discharged, I dispose of thus: to my Grandson John Crawford I give ten Pounds, the residue of said Money I give and bequeath unto my three Daughters above-mentioned to be equally divided among them share & share alike." She named her son Elias Gilbert the sole Executor. The witnesses to her will were John and Margaret Kerr. This would would be John Kerr of Warwick and his wife Margaret Henderson.
