- Named as the husband of Mary Fosbenner in an indenture dated 16 Jul 1855 between Maria Nace, widow of Daniel Nace, and eleven of his relatives regarding several parcels of land in Whitemarsh Township.
William's death certificate gives his birth place as Ireland and gives his residence as 1639 Moravian St, He was married when he died at age 76. His burial place is given only as "N. Phild Cemetery" in his death certificate. This «i»might «/i»refer to Philadelphia National Cemetery in Germantown as it was established in 1862. In the death register his burial place looks more like "New Phila" or possibly, after looking again, even "Am Phila" which might mean American Mechanics Cemetery.
Just for the fun of it all, Find a Grave has a memorial showing him buried at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.
