| Notes |
- Mark Ely was named in the 1891 obituary of his father-in-law, Samuel Leedom. The Ely, Revell and Stacye Family source names Mark as one of the five children of James Ely and Emeline Magill.
Mark is buried in Sec C-7-7 at Solebury Friends' Burial Ground, next to his wife Mary L. in C-7-6 according to a transcription of the burial ground. The obituary of his son Willis gives his death date as 20 Feb 1928. In 1925, after closing the gent's furnishings business he established with his son Willis, Mark Ely went back to Trenton until his health failed when he then returned to Rising Sun to live with his son.
