  Notes	One of ten children, four sons and six daughters, of whom six accompanied their parents to the New World. - Portrait and Biographical record of Sheboygan Wisconsin, p. 550 According to Marcia Lubbers Leedom in 1996, as a young woman in Holland, prior to her marriage, Catharina was thought to have died. As she lay in her casket during the funeral service, her father, in deepest grief over his young daughter's death, embraced her and detected signs of life. She recovered fully and later met and married Derk Willem Huenink. Her obituary in The Sheboygan Press on 17 Aug states that thes arrived in Wisconsin 40 years ago an dleived in the same house in Cedar Grove from her arrival until her death. Her funeral was held at 2:30 on Mon at the Presbyterian Church. [1]
