Adelaide is listed in the 1910 census, 34w Philadelphia (on the same page as her sister-in-law Orpha Leger), widow, age 58, with 24 year old daughter Helen.
Her death notice states she died suddenly and was the wife of the late Samuel J. Leger. Her residence at the time was 620 N. 65th St. Her great-grandson Jay Willis says that, "Adalaide died when her clothing caught fire while burning trash. Her funeral was closed casket."
