- The source for Sarah as a possible daughter of John Leedom is not mentioned in The Leedom Family and I have found no definitive records of her or of Theophilus Spencer.
There is a Fishlake, Yorkshire record for a Sarah Letham, born 19 Aug 1656 and baptised 22 Jul 1656, her father named as John Letham.
There is a second record for a Sara Letham, born 27 Nov 1658 and baptised 4 Dec 1658 in Fishlake, Yorkshire. Her parents are named as John and Jane Letham.
There is also an IGI submission (again, not a record extraction and possibly even submitted by Sara Eachus herself) of a Sarah Leedom, daughter of John, with no sources and nothing more specific than that she was born about 1677 in Yorkshire and died in 1736.
