- Peter married Godly, widow of Simon Payne. His will is dated 2 February, 1663, and was proved 12 January, 1664. He died without issue. His wife made her will 11 April 1675, and died the same year.
He was visited by nephew John (son of brother Matthew) in 1657/58.

Cornelius Mounteney of London, merchant age 52, deposes that on 4 Mar 1658 he consigned goods on the account of himself and Peter Cushing of London, merchant, to Richard Mawfas of Barbados, merchant. Mr. John Searle of Barbados is nominated as attorney.
