- Thomas Pritchett of Edgmont wrote his will on 10 Jun 1784 and named Sarah Bishop, the daughter of my sister Phebe Hammel. He left his brother William Pritchett all his lands in Upper Providence and to William and his sister Elizabeth Pritchett his land in Uwchland containing about 250 acres. After their death it was to go to the children of their deceased brother John. He also left 25 acres in Providence to his 'lad' Mordecai Yarnall if he stayed with his brother William until the age of 21 years. Witnesses were George Bishop and Isaac Hoopes and the will was proved in Chester county on 1 Sep 1784.
