Obituary in the Sheboygan Press on 03 Oct 2006
Margaret "Marge" J. Holle, 81, of Sheboygan, died peacefully at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center on Monday morning, October 02, 2006, following heart failure.
Marge was born March 29, 1925. Her parents were Dirk D.W. and Henrietta (Renskers) Huenink. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School, Class of 1943.
Her first husband, August Huebner, preceded her in death in 1951.
Marge was a skilled seamstress. For many years, she specialized in making bridesmaid's dresses and other clothing articles in her home.
On March 29, 1952 Marge married Harold N. Holle of Cedar Grove. Following Harold's retirement in 1979, the couple moved to Eagle River, Wisconsin where they resided for eight years, before returning to Sheboygan in 1987.
Marge was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ where she sang with the choir, served with craft guild and kitchen ministry.
Marge was blessed with an excellent singing voice that brought meaning and comfort to many at weddings and funerals. She enjoyed crafts, especially counter cross-stitch, gardening, golfing and bowling.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Phillip Huenink of Cedar Grove; a grandson, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Huenink of Gibbsville; a great-grandson, Joshua Huenink; a granddaughter, Pamela (Thomas) Roloff of Oshkosh; and a sister-in-law, Vera (Holle) Bloemers.
In addition to August and Harold, Marge was preceded in death by four sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00A.M. at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. Rev. Dr. Roger J. Mealiff, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place in Presbyterian Cemetery, Town of Holland. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels on Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 P.M. and at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name. The family extends their thanks to the caregivers at Memorial Medical Center, St. Luke Medical Center and Meadow View Manor Nursing Home for their compassion and support.
Marge will always be remembered for her generosity and selflessness to family and friends, and for her loving smile.
